Corky Hat Size Guidelines
From newborn to size 12 months babies have a rather small head. Then as they transition to 18 -24 months clothing their head size grows very quickly. As toddlers continue to grow their head size grows very slowly from 24 months all the way to size 14. We want you to buy the right size Corky hat for your child to match your Corky coat and offer these guidelines to help.
XS fits newborn through size 12 month coats
Small-Medium fits size 18 month to 4T coats
Medium-Large fits size 4T to 8 coats
XL fits size 7 – 14 coats
Picking the right size hat is a little tricky because two kids that fit the same size clothes can have significantly different size heads. This sounds silly, but it’s true just like it is in adults. Some people have big heads and some small heads and kids are the same. So if your child has a bigger or smaller than average head size you’ll want to use your judgment when picking the size.
For girls, another factor in choosing a hat size is hair. If your daughter has a lot of hair, tends to wear her hair up a lot or likes hair accessorizes you may want to choose a larger size hat. Again this is a judgment call.
Generally speaking, around a size 4T/4 kids usually transition to a medium-large Corky hat and around size 7/8/10 kids transition to an XL hat. With these guidelines and comments we hope you feel comfortable picking the right size hat.
